PRG University, or PRGU for short, is our new skater program. If you’ve never skated roller derby before, or have limited experience, PRGU is right for you.
Each session covers the basic skills to get your roller derby career started including: roller derby skating form, stopping, falling safely, pack skills, jumping, whips, pushes, blocking, and hitting. At the end of PRGU, skaters who pass a subset of the WFTDA minimum skills are invited to join as full league members.
Orientation: Feb 21 Dates: Feb 28- April 25 (Tues, Thur, Sat) Length: 10 weeks Cost: $225
Required gear: helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and mouth guard. Skates can be borrowed from the rink.
