Ask all your burning questions at our New Skater Info Night. This is a great way to get more details about roller derby, how our league works, how to become a part of it as a skater, official on- or off-skates, volunteer, and become a fan!

Then the second bout will be Halloween themed and featuring our newest skaters! They've been working very hard on their derby skills and they're ready to show you what's up! Interested in learning roller derby? You should because it’s SO MUCH FUN! It’s great exercise, you build skating skills, learn how to play the sport, fall safely, and become a part of a really cool community.
The first hour will be just for the new skaters. 3p-5p will be a full practice with the league including the new skaters! Limited loaner gear available, please email for details.

If you've never played derby before but feel pretty comfortable on quad skates, come to our next round of open try outs. Email training@peninsularollerderby.com to sign up for more information.
What are open try outs? We will take you through a series of skills and test to make sure you are safe to skate with. The Women's Flat Track Derby Association requires all roller derby players to be able to perform a variety of skills. Take a peek at the official WFTDA minimum skills requirements PDF. If they seem like they are within your skill set we'd LOVE to see you at our open try outs!
Anyone who does not pass their minimum skills during open try outs is encouraged to enroll in the next session of PRDUniversity.
